I’d like to introduce my readers to some of the most fabulous ladies I have stumbled across in quite some time….Alison and Gail Rubke (daughter and mother) of Faire Frou Frou Boutique and the Frou Frou Fashionista Blog. We love how some of today’s lingerie styles evoke the sophistication and glamour of old Hollywood! It seems like many contemporary designers are trying to recapture the essence of lingerie in its heyday, and they are doing so with some very fun results. Retro styles are certainly in ‘comeback’ mode, particularly with the high-waist panties and contrast-seamed stockings. We especially love the look of a beautiful satin robe with ostrich feather trim – the ultimate in decadence!
Some designers that we carry in our boutique (Faire Frou Frou) do a wonderful job with the retro look: Fifi Chachnil, Miss Lala Presents, and Made by Niki. Now you can create your own glamorous lingerie ensemble! Have fun!
