Beauty Products – Foundation

I have long been a fan of Bare Escentuals…love it’s non-messy ease of use, but have found myself longing for a more moisturizing type of foundation that evens out my skin tone more (and maybe hides a few freckles!). I tried a new one from Mac (Studio Sculpt), butI’m not sure I’m absolutely crazy about it.

I just stumbled across this one from Clinique and was wondering if any of you have tried it. It is called Almost Makeup and is supposed to be like a tinted moisturizer but with a little more coverage. Looks like a good day time foundation anyway. Might give me that dewy effect I am looking for, hopefully without settling into my pores.

But then that leaves me wondering what I should use for a more flawless look on nights out? Any suggestions ladies?

What foundations do you use?

Another thing on my makeup radar is this eyeshadow pro palette with eyeshadow refill pans from MAC. I would love the pro palette that holds more shadows but think it would be better to start small since it can get a little pricey. I think the colors below are what I woud start with. What are your favorite shades of MAC eyeshadow?

You should try Make Up For Ever’s HD Foundation.

It is oil-free but ultra flexible and it feels amazing on the skin. It is one of the most flawless finishes ever, especially when paired with Smashbox’s Photo Finish Primer and MUFE’s (Make Up For Ever) HD Powder.

The primer is one of my staple products in my kit- it works well with all foundations I’ve tried it with, and keeps the makeup in place for HOURS. The HD Powder is 100% silica and leaves the smoothest finish ever!

Oh my goodness…i am totally sold on the foundation and the powder after seeing what you had to say about them and reading the reviews on Sephora! I am going to have to start saving up! They are pretty expensive!
