Southern Belle | Las Vegas Boudoir
Another Texas gal? Why, yes! I had a surge of Texas beauties come in for shoots awhile back and I am just now almost finishing up blogging all of them. I’ve been swamped, what can I say? But I won’t withhold this one from you any longer….
Mrs L was yet another referral from another client of mine who came from Texas! I love my Texas girls! She decided to do her boudoir session while her husband was busy at a convention. He had no clue whatsoever what she was up to! We had so much fun! And I was so impressed with how good she was at following direction with posing and expressions. Like I always say, it really does take two to tango and the more you give, the more you get out of the whole process. And, wow, just look at her images! Absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks Mrs L for letting me spend the afternoon with you while your husband was busy with his convention. And, as always thank you for giving me permission to share these images here.

So excited and proud to be featured as one of the three top pro boudoir photographers featured in Ed Verosky’s latest book, “Boudoir Photography: The Quick-Start Guide For Professional Photographers”. Ed offers great educational tools for photographers that are reasonably priced and full of value. This book is no exception. He goes into great detail on all subjects pertaining to boudoir and gets other opinions (including mine! woohoo!) on the same subjects too. It’s quite entertaining and educational! Ed is a wealth of knowledge and always so generous in sharing. This is something I adore about him. A Beautiful Smile | Las Vegas Boudoir
I always say I have the best clients and while I am sure others say that too, I really believe it’s true in my case! My clients are more than just ‘clients’, they actually become friends! Working with them so closely, we learn a lot about each other in a short amount of time and I end up genuinely caring about each and every one of them!
Mrs. B was no exception. She scheduled her shoot with me for when she was coming into town all the way from Washington. She had the most amazing stories that kept Hera Beauty and me completely fascinated during her time with us. We all adored her quick wit and no-nonsense attitude. Her smile reminded me of Jessica Biel…it just lit up the room! Oh, and did I mention she is a fellow photographer? I felt so flattered that she chose me to do her her boudoir session!

Awhile back I had a spectacular client who had the cutest knickers from Agent Provocateur as one of her ‘looks’ during her boudoir session. They were so unique that I remember them to this very day and when I saw a similar pair in the Frederick’s of Hollywood catalog, I thought I would highlight them here for all of you in case this is a look you are interested in either for a boudoir photo session or a romantic night with your guy! I personally think it’s fun to wear pretty lingerie for no reason at all though, don’t you?!

Boudoir Style: Luxe Look For Less | Las Vegas Boudoir
One of my clients recently brought to her shoot the most stunning corset from Agent Provocateur for one of her ‘looks’ that I wanted to share with you here. Unfortunately I can’t show the images I took of her in it out of respect for her privacy (she opted to keep her photos to herself on her model release form). But, I found it on the Agent Provocateur website so you can see for yourself! It photographs beautifully. At $390 it’s a bit pricey for a lot of us women, but I found a very similar one on the Victoria’s Secret website for $58 (available in black, red & pink – I personally prefer the black one), in case you want something like this for your own boudoir shoot. Corsets are perfect for almost every body shape, but especially if your tummy is a problem area that you would like to diminish rather than highlight in your photos.

Style Idea: Sheer Simplicity | Las Vegas Boudoir
Just did a shoot last week with a pretty lady who brought in the cutest sheer top from Forever 21 to use as one of her ‘looks’! This is a great idea if you like the idea of topless but are a little timid about the idea! This particular clients top was adorable…kind-of a lacy top that was meant for layering over a camisole and it was open to the waist, where it cinched in and had buttons at the bottom to keep it pulled together. It also had sparkly accents around the lining. It was sooo pretty! If you are looking for something a little different, I would encourage you to look for things like this from your regular wardrobe even.

Birthday Girl – Las Vegas Boudoir Photographer
Mrs G and I had been talking for months planning for her photo shoot. She was going to be doing her shoot in honor of her upcoming 30th birthday. She came in with some great ideas and awesome outfits! I especially love the outfit she wore that was a pretty lace black bra with black panties and waist high fishnets! I had been hoping someone would bring an outfit with fishnets like that for so long, so when she pulled that out of her bag I was so excited! I just knew it would photograph beautifully. I am just head over heels for her photos….aren’t they lovely? We had a great time during her shoot and then she left and hopped a flight (looking like a total movie star) for the rest of her birthday celebration in New York and Washington DC!

Cosmetics – What I’m Liking Right Now
I have been using eyeliner pencil for so many years that I had forgotten how much I loved a good liquid eyeliner. I recently bought one in black by Colorstay Revlon and am loving how quick and easy it is to use! I no longer have to set my pencil eyeliner with eyeshadow, so that saves me a step! M•A•C Pigments are always fun for eyeshadow and they last so long! And if you haven’t tried TARTE blush yet, you must give it a go! It gives your skin a healthy, slightly more dewy glow than powder blush could. And finally, I was addicted to volumizing mascaras until I tried Flawless Definition by Bare Escentuals. I was so tired of the big brush trend with volumizing mascaras and am relieved to be using a smaller brush again. And my lashes look perfectly defined, a bit glossy and never clumpy!
