For Mrs. S’s second shoot with me, I brought some fun props for her to play with…2 dozen coral roses, a bag of lollipops, a silver multi-strand necklace, butterfly ring, and a Haute Shots tank top as seen here. And, what fun it was! I couldn’t have asked for a better subject, as she was game for all of my ideas and she brought the cutest outfits too!

Studio Session | Las Vegas Beauty & Boudoir Photography
I finally bought furniture for the studio space. It took me forever to find a set that was just perfect for this, but I stumbled upon the prettiest furniture over the weekend and knew I had to get it. I just had to test it out, so I enlisted my beautiful childhood friend from the Fighting Foxes (our small girls club in the 2nd grade). She and I had been wanting to shoot together forever so this was the perfect excuse to just make it happen! And, she was such a great sport! Especially for being game for a before picture! She looks AMAZING though even without her hair and makeup done. Lucky girl!
Because of our need to occasionally test ideas out like this, we will be announcing a search for a Haute Shots Spokesmodel soon. Stay tuned for the details.

This Mother’s Day, Haute Shots & Hera Beauty would like to wish all of you beautiful Mommies a very Happy Mother’s Day! For all you do, from paying the bills, cleaning the messes and getting everyone out of the house on time, while wearing your stiletto heels- we salute you!
I would also like to honor my own Mother on this special day. Happy Mother’s Day to a woman who played the single most pivotal role in my life. A hard worker who spent most of her life just struggling to make the best life possible for her daughter, me. Thank you Mom for all you have done for me and our family. Bikini Season is Upon Us | Las Vegas Boudoir
For the first time in my entire life I am living at a house that has a swimming pool. Exciting, yes, but also a bit terrifying since our backyard opens up for all of our neighbors to see as well as people in the park out back and those who utilize the walking trail. So with summer upon us I am having a bit of a panic attack. I am nowhere near being bikini ready, especially when put on display!
So, when Whitney (of Hera Beauty) text messaged me last night that MotivFit was running a special for another Body Blast class, I knew I had better take advantage of this. You can read about our prior experience with MotivFit here and here. I am the wimpiest person ever, so if I can do it, so can you! In fact, I would love if a bunch of you joined us!
MotivFit is offering a phenomenal deal for Body Blast which runs 3 days per week for 4 weeks. Whitney and I are planning on doing their morning classes at Anthem Hills Park in Henderson every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9:30am.

Just Because | Las Vegas Boudoir
A trend I am seeing more and more of with boudoir is women doing these shoots ‘just because’. These images will be something they can look back on years to come and recall their more youthful days. Sometimes you don’t need much more of a reason to get boudoir photos done. It’s a great way to celebrate you and how beautiful you truly are!
Such is the case with Ms. B. She has a birthday approaching and what better way to celebrate it than by commemorating her fabulousness with a boudoir session? And, was she ever fabulous! With such a fun personality & a true sparkle in her eye, she set her nerves aside, put on some cute outfits and completely shined for my camera! Loved her cute tattoos too!

Inspiration: Jerry Hall | Las Vegas Boudoir
While doing a clients makeup for a boudoir session this week, Kat (Hera Beauty) mentioned how much she reminded her ofJerry Hall, a model popular in the late 1970′s and well known for having been Mick Jagger’s long-time flame. She reminded me more of Cameron Diaz, but when I returned home from the shoot I looked her up online and thought our gorgeous client was a perfect mix of Hall and Diaz! Lucky girl! Anyway, I got carried away browsing images of Jerry and thought I would share a few here with you to hopefully provide you with some inspiration for your own boudoir photoshoot.
In my list of tips I provide when you book your session, I mention that it sometimes helps to imagine that you are your favorite celebrity or model during your shoot. Getting into character like that helps give you confidence, which the camera absolutely adores. So, go ahead and seek out celebrated bombshells you can emulate! Which famous female would you be?

Miss Eve, Pin-up Style!
I had such a good time with Eve’s photoshoot last month. Eve came prepared with lots of personality, which I think really shows in her photos below. She’s also a fan of Top Model…that might have helped with her posing confidence!
I had to wait so long to post these because she was giving them as a birthday gift for her boyfriend. Eve chose to give him a calendar, which is so perfect for these types of images. She also ordered some prints which look incredible with the metallic finish.

Vegas Boudoir Suite Shoot – Mrs A
Mrs A was planning a trip to Vegas with her husband who was coming to town for a business trip and decided it might be fun to schedule a boudoir shoot with me while her husband was away at his conference. I couldn’t agree more! What a unique and fun thing to do while in Vegas!
I arrived at Mrs A’s suite with Kat and Whitney of Hera Beauty who did an amazing job with her hair and makeup!
Mrs A was one of the most delightful individuals I have ever come across. She had a way about her that made everyone around her light up and she was absolutely GORGEOUS! She had true southern charm and the sweetest accent! Thanks Mrs A for a fun, girly afternoon!
