Studio Session | Las Vegas Beauty & Boudoir Photography
I finally bought furniture for the studio space. It took me forever to find a set that was just perfect for this, but I stumbled upon the prettiest furniture over the weekend and knew I had to get it. I just had to test it out, so I enlisted my beautiful childhood friend from the Fighting Foxes (our small girls club in the 2nd grade). She and I had been wanting to shoot together forever so this was the perfect excuse to just make it happen! And, she was such a great sport! Especially for being game for a before picture! She looks AMAZING though even without her hair and makeup done. Lucky girl!
Because of our need to occasionally test ideas out like this, we will be announcing a search for a Haute Shots Spokesmodel soon. Stay tuned for the details.

This post is specifically for the ladies. I normally shoot my boudoir sessions with the end audience in my mind…the husband. My aim for that is moody, dramatic and super sexy. My Favorite Kind of Client | Las Vegas Boudoir
You know you are behind on blogging when you get a repeat client that tells you they still haven’t seen their images on your blog that you took almost a year ago! Oh my, I am behind! Honestly, when I am super busy with shoots and orders, I have a tendency to not update the blog as much as I should and because it’s been such a busy year, I still have tons of shoots to blog!
So, in honor of my repeat client who reminded me of this, here are Mrs. L’s beautiful images from her boudoir session with me last January. Mrs. L has to be every man’s dream girl. She has the face of an angel and a body that just doesn’t quit! Her beauty doesn’t stop on the outside either, it just radiates from within. She is just as sweet as can be!
When I received an email from Mrs. L in response to our Holiday Special saying she wanted in on it, I was absolutely thrilled! My gorgeous Montana client was coming back to do another shoot with me! I love repeat clients and always hope that all of my girls will do yearly shoots with me, if anything, just to get to hang out again and celebrate them all over again! This is exactly why we are going to be offering studio specials, in fact! I can’t wait to show you Mrs. L’s images from her second session! I’ll try my best to show them before a whole year has passed, I promise!

French Model | Las Vegas Boudoir
I received an email about a month ago from a beautiful model in France. She found me on a site that brings models and photographers together for trade shoots and she asked if I would be interested in doing a ‘trade’ session together during her upcoming vacation in Vegas. I wanted to say yes immediately. She was a stunning beauty…and from France? Oh yes, I was smitten! But, I had to pause and really consider this.
See, the thing is, I don’t shoot models. I photograph real women with real bodies, real insecurities and most who aren’t used to being in front of a camera – not to mention being in front of a camera wearing nothing but lingerie! This is where my heart lies, with these women. I find such satisfaction in coaching them into blossoming into a supermodel for during their photo sessions! It’s a transformation that I am thrilled by each and every time I witness it.
With that being said though, I decided to do the session. I wanted to see firsthand what other boudoir photographers are experiencing regularly by shooting models for their portfolios and blogs. And I wanted to do a shoot that was just for my team and me. We were able to just play and style her to our liking. So fun!
So, will I do a model shoot again? Sure! It was a blast! And it gave my team the creative boost we needed. But, I will always let you all know that it is a model when I post images from shoots like that. I’m so busy with my super fabulous clients though that I probably won’t be able to do another shoot like this for another year or so. Boo!
By the way, if you are a client interested in getting more creative with your own session, I highly encourage you to consider hiring Kat and Whitney (or Rachel) of Hera Beauty to stay on and do different hair and makeup looks throughout the duration of your boudoir session. This is especially nice for the Elite sessions.

Classic Bride | Las Vegas Boudoir
While in Las Vegas for her bachelorette party, Mrs. K snuck away from the party and had a bridal boudoir session with me. I was stunned by her classic beauty…her creamy porcelain skin, dark hair and mysterious brown eyes. I knew she would photograph so nicely. The outfit she chose to wear in these photos below is one of my all-time favorites! So classy but still incredibly sexy. It suited her personality so well!

Another Texas gal? Why, yes! I had a surge of Texas beauties come in for shoots awhile back and I am just now almost finishing up blogging all of them. I’ve been swamped, what can I say? But I won’t withhold this one from you any longer….
Mrs L was yet another referral from another client of mine who came from Texas! I love my Texas girls! She decided to do her boudoir session while her husband was busy at a convention. He had no clue whatsoever what she was up to! We had so much fun! And I was so impressed with how good she was at following direction with posing and expressions. Like I always say, it really does take two to tango and the more you give, the more you get out of the whole process. And, wow, just look at her images! Absolutely gorgeous!

Heart and Soul | Las Vegas Boudoir
Mrs. R’s husband contacted me upon planning their trip to Las Vegas to inquire about me doing a boudoir session for his lovely wife. He told me how beautiful she was and how she had been through so much in her life, including heart surgery, which left her with scars that she was very self conscious of. I assured him that a boudoir session was just the lift for her spirit that she probably needed and couldn’t wait to work with this special lady!
When I met Mrs R I knew she had come into my life for a reason. She came at a particular time when I was actually quite worried about my own heart health. Turns out it was stress related, thankfully, but I wouldn’t have been brave enough to find out if it hadn’t been for her. Mrs. R made quite an impression on me! Her strength and courage and kindness were just incredible and I am so grateful to have been privileged enough to have met her.

So excited and proud to be featured as one of the three top pro boudoir photographers featured in Ed Verosky’s latest book, “Boudoir Photography: The Quick-Start Guide For Professional Photographers”. Ed offers great educational tools for photographers that are reasonably priced and full of value. This book is no exception. He goes into great detail on all subjects pertaining to boudoir and gets other opinions (including mine! woohoo!) on the same subjects too. It’s quite entertaining and educational! Ed is a wealth of knowledge and always so generous in sharing. This is something I adore about him. A sense of mystery always adds appeal to boudoir photos, so I was definitely up to the challenge of creating some anonymous type shots for the stunning Mrs. D. I couldn’t have asked for better circumstances for a photo shoot. Whole Lotta Love | Las Vegas Boudoir
Elegant and refined. Stunningly beautiful with the longest legs, sultry blonde hair, pretty blue eyes and a body that just won’t quit. She’s a rocker at heart with wild blood running through her veins. Her grandmother was a burlesque dancer! Isn’t that the coolest?! That must be where she gets her beauty and grace. She loves bands like Led Zeppelin and is an avid reader and is also a fan of my favorite lingerie brand Agent Provocateur!
Obviously, I loved this girl right from the beginning when we began plotting and planning her shoot. Vegas Vacation | Las Vegas Boudoir
Mrs E contacted me to do a boudoir shoot when she was in the planning stages of the very first vacation that she and her husband had ever been able to take together. They were head over heels in love with each other and a real wedding and honeymoon just wasn’t in their plans years ago so they had every intention of really living it up while in Las Vegas. Mrs. E told me, “The Haute Shots boudoir session was the one thing I REALLY wanted to do. Forget gambling!” My kind of girl! I knew we were going to have a splendid time getting to know each other during her time with me. I always say I have the best clients and while I am sure others say that too, I really believe it’s true in my case! My clients are more than just ‘clients’, they actually become friends! Beauty for the Blog | Las Vegas Boudoir
Wow, I am so very behind with blogging! I always try so hard to stay on top of it to be able to share a little beauty from recent sessions with you all, but I am busier than ever and finding my blog almost impossible to tend to at the moment. Processing shoots and fulfilling lots & lots of orders are my priority at the moment. But, I just couldn’t let my little blog be so neglected anymore. Ms. P had walked in the door for her session and I recognized her instantly! We had met about a year prior at a little cocktail party! Another Stunning Showstopper Album | Las Vegas Boudoir
Pleased to be able to share with you all images from another one of the albums from my new Showstopper line. This time it’s with a sexy Bremen cover…silver and black reptile leather. So perfect to present to your special guy. It’s not overly feminine and not too masculine either. In my opinion, it’s just right!
This particular album is going to one of my latest muses. She recently did a photo session with me as a gift from her doting husband and she was just as gorgeous as could be. I’ve said it before and I will say it again, that these gifted sessions are always amongst my favorites. Seeing how much the husbands adore their wives enough to want to have their beauty captured for all time with a boudoir session, is always so touching to me. The wives get to be all dolled up and look sexy for a couple of hours while the husband does a little gambling or what not, all the while imagining the pretty pictures that are to come from this. And, afterwards they can hit the town and go on a romantic date. Sounds like perfection to me!

While Her Husband is Away | Las Vegas Boudoir
This was one of those photo sessions that reminds me why I love boudoir so dearly. I was originally contacted by Mr. G who was looking for something to occupy his wife’s time with while he was busy at a convention for work during their time in Las Vegas. Mr. G arranged the whole thing for his beloved wife by email and said the loveliest things about her. I absolutely adore hearing how husbands speak of their wives when they treat them with a boudoir session!
An important aspect for all of my photo sessions is that my clients are just as invested in their boudoir experience as I am so I was pleased to see that a relationship was building right from the start via open communication. Mrs. G gave such thoughtful and interesting answers for the questionnaire I emailed her which helped me get to know her better and to be able to tailor her session more specifically towards her taste.
When the morning came for Mrs. G’s shoot, it felt like I was meeting up with an old friend. She was one of the most naturally sexy women I have ever encountered. She brought the ‘sexy’ without hesitation. It was ‘game time’ and she knew she would get the most out of her session if she tossed any inhibitions aside for the duration of her shoot. I appreciated her trust in me & my vision for her photos and her willingness to give it her all. And, she didn’t even blink an eye when I asked her to do a few sexy dance moves for video to incorporate into her slideshow! Go Mrs. G!!!! She is one heck of a gorgeous gal, isn’t she?

Fierce and Fabulous | Las Vegas Boudoir
Ms. R is one of those feline-like females who just oozes sex appeal – not in the basic form of sensuality either, but in a sophisticated manner that very few possess. She has a confidence about her that is awe-inspiring and a fashion sense to be envied! She brought the hottest little Herve Leger dress that we were all oohing & ahhing over! This girl also knows how to smoke a cigar like a champ! Our time together was a bit rushed so I worried about her puffing away continuously for the sake of the photo, but she pulled it off brilliantly! Consider me impressed!
