For Mrs. S’s second shoot with me, I brought some fun props for her to play with…2 dozen coral roses, a bag of lollipops, a silver multi-strand necklace, butterfly ring, and a Haute Shots tank top as seen here. And, what fun it was! I couldn’t have asked for a better subject, as she was game for all of my ideas and she brought the cutest outfits too!

What’s Sexy Now | Las Vegas Beauty & Boudoir Photography
It’s been awhile since I posted a What’s Sexy Now installment. I thought posting one now would be a great way to ring in the New Year! This one features a very special guest, someone I have admired for some time now for her amazing fashion sense as well as her mad writing skills…the lovely, Laura Coronado.
What makes a woman sexy?
I think self-love makes a woman sexy. A woman who loves herself unconditionally – body and soul – is a woman who exudes sex appeal. And frankly, a woman who loves herself is easy to fall in love with. Confidence, strength, resilience and self-belief also make a woman sexy, but these things all stem from self-love.
Famous female that most embodies sexy to you:
Right now I think Sofia Vergara is the sexiest woman on earth. She laughs and smiles a lot. You can tell she is loving her life, and that’s super sexy. I also think Rita Moreno and Sophia Loren from the 1960s era were extremely sexy. Voluptuous with dark exotic features, that’s what I want to look like as a woman.
Favorite sexy film or literature (or both):
The 1980s movie “Two Moon Junction” always sets me on fire. The tale of a pristine southern belle falling for a muscular, rugged, manly man who drives a rig and works at carnival and gets her to explore her passions and desires just really appeals to me. It’s like a naughty fairytale. Forbidden lust is hot.
Song or Album that never fails to put you in a sexy mood:
The song “Say Goodbye” by Dave Matthews never fails to get me in the mood. Again, the theme is forbidden lust. The song is about platonic friends who are attracted to each other allowing themselves one night of pleasure together and saying goodbye in the morning, sharing a sexy secret forever. It’s a fantasy I’d love to act out with my hubby. (Grabbing my bucket list now!)
Fashion trend, item or designer collection that you find sexy:
Two words: Tom Ford! And I mean all of it – cosmetics, accessories, fragrance and the women’s fashion. The man is a magician, and everything he does for women is done with the intention of making us feel sexy. He succeeds at that, too!
Sexy destination:
This may sound crazy, but for me, New Orleans is one great town for getting down. I don’t know if it’s the swamp humidity in the air, or the sensual jazz music, or the hurricane cocktail drinks – or all of it combined together! But New Orleans puts me in a really sexy mood.
What makes you feel sexy?
There are three things I do to make me feel sexy, and each is done to put focus on what I think are my three best physical attributes. One, because I have green eyes, I apply my eyeliner as perfectly as possible and wear loads of mascara. This puts extra emphasis on my eyes. My husband loves that and I feel like a sex kitten. Two, I’m luckily, naturally endowed. And I am not shy about showing off the girls. I love revealing a bit of cleavage. It makes me feel very womanly. Lastly, I have a derriere that complements my bust line. So I love to shake my hips while dancing, or jut a hip out while standing or innocently bend over. My husband loves my round behind, and when we’re out together and he rests his hand on the area where my butt protrudes from my lower back, I feel like he’s claiming ownership of it, and that makes me feel irresistible and desirable.

While in Las Vegas for her bachelorette party, Mrs. K snuck away from the party and had a bridal boudoir session with me. I was stunned by her classic beauty…her creamy porcelain skin, dark hair and mysterious brown eyes. I knew she would photograph so nicely. Heart and Soul | Las Vegas Boudoir
Mrs. R’s husband contacted me upon planning their trip to Las Vegas to inquire about me doing a boudoir session for his lovely wife. He told me how beautiful she was and how she had been through so much in her life, including heart surgery, which left her with scars that she was very self conscious of. I assured him that a boudoir session was just the lift for her spirit that she probably needed and couldn’t wait to work with this special lady!
When I met Mrs R I knew she had come into my life for a reason. She came at a particular time when I was actually quite worried about my own heart health. Turns out it was stress related, thankfully, but I wouldn’t have been brave enough to find out if it hadn’t been for her. Mrs. R made quite an impression on me! Her strength and courage and kindness were just incredible and I am so grateful to have been privileged enough to have met her.

Whole Lotta Love | Las Vegas Boudoir
Elegant and refined. Stunningly beautiful with the longest legs, sultry blonde hair, pretty blue eyes and a body that just won’t quit. She’s a rocker at heart with wild blood running through her veins. Her grandmother was a burlesque dancer! Isn’t that the coolest?! That must be where she gets her beauty and grace. She loves bands like Led Zeppelin and is an avid reader and is also a fan of my favorite lingerie brand Agent Provocateur!
Obviously, I loved this girl right from the beginning when we began plotting and planning her shoot. One of my favorite parts of each shoot is getting to know my clients and learning what makes them tick. I love getting to know what makes each of you unique and special. She was no exception. She was witty and articulate and ended up being so much fun!

Vegas Vacation | Las Vegas Boudoir
Mrs E contacted me to do a boudoir shoot when she was in the planning stages of the very first vacation that she and her husband had ever been able to take together. They were head over heels in love with each other and a real wedding and honeymoon just wasn’t in their plans years ago so they had every intention of really living it up while in Las Vegas. Mrs. E told me, “The Haute Shots boudoir session was the one thing I REALLY wanted to do. Forget gambling!” My kind of girl! I knew we were going to have a splendid time getting to know each other during her time with me. And, to honor the deep bond between her and her husband, I let her awesome hubby come up at the end of her session for a few shots together. I’m such a sucker for true love!

Women are accustomed to looking after so many others in our lives, as it’s in our nature to be nurturing, but Ms. W is exceptionally caring. Really getting back to my Texan roots lately with so many clients flying in from my birth state (Texas) and doing shoots with me! I think there were about 4 Texas beauties within a week and a half! They actually made me miss living there a bit. You girls were all so sweet and fun to be around!
Mrs. B was one of those gorgeous southern girls who came as a referral from yet another client from Texas! She did her boudoir session while her husband was busy during the day with a convention for work. She won me over instantly with her gentle and calming demeanor and it felt like I had known her forever. Super easy to work with, she was a true classic beauty with legs for miles! Yet she was unaffected by her own beauty which I found completely endearing.

A Natural | Las Vegas Boudoir
Beginning to feel a bit more caught up now…yay! So, let’s get this blog ball rolling again, shall we?
Mr. K arranged this shoot for his incredibly gorgeous wife and himself. Yep, we had a couples session even though I had told myself I wasn’t going to do couples sessions anymore. Here’s the thing, he was so incredibly respectful of me as an artist and the whole process that I knew they were legitimately interested in the art of a session and not a cheap thrill. I get lots of inappropriate requests that make me pretty uneasy about the whole thing, but I am so happy I did this one! These two were amazing! Of course, I had to do some shots of Mrs. K by herself too because to me, all of my photo sessions are really about the woman…and what a pretty woman she is, right? So happy I got to play a part in their trip to Vegas!
Hera Beauty and I were so impressed with Mrs. K that we had to pick her brain about her diet and workout routine. She just might have changed our lives! She recommended the Eat-Clean Diet series of books and cookbooks by the inspirational Tosca Reno. We all ran out and began incorporating some of those principles and recipes into our diets. My favorite so far is the Moroccan Chicken and Lentils recipe…yum! Thank you Mrs. K for inspiring my team and I to get healthy!

Beauty for the Blog | Las Vegas Boudoir
Wow, I am so very behind with blogging! I always try so hard to stay on top of it to be able to share a little beauty from recent sessions with you all, but I am busier than ever and finding my blog almost impossible to tend to at the moment. Processing shoots and fulfilling lots & lots of orders are my priority at the moment. But, I just couldn’t let my little blog be so neglected anymore. Ms. P had walked in the door for her session and I recognized her instantly! We had met about a year prior at a little cocktail party! I remembered thinking how beautifully she would photograph when I first met her – she has the most amazing bone structure! And, I was right! Look how much the camera loves her!

Welcome to the latest installment of my What’s Sexy Now series! So proud to have this month’s guest, Alison Wainwright. Alison is a successful female business owner in our fair city of Las Vegas. She is also an activist for animals, which I love about her! 2010 was a big year for Alison as she was named one of the “40 Under 40” (“40 most ambitious, talented, and influential leaders in Las Vegas under the age of 40″), recognized in SEVEN Magazine as ”Best in the City”, and also received Congressional Recognition for “Recognition of Outstanding Contributions to Business in Southern Nevada”. Quite an accomplished gal! I was so happy when she agreed to contribute here!

- What makes a woman sexy?
Confidence makes a woman sexy AND beautiful. There is nothing more attractive than a woman who walks into a room and knows what she wants. I have seen women in all shapes and sizes other than what society tells us is sexy and her confidence turns all heads. You can see a woman who feels confident about who she is from across the room. Natural beauty is also sexy, unaltered natural women are more beautiful. A woman can be sexy in sweats, its all about inner beauty.
- Famous female that most embodies sexy to you:
Nicole Panattoni may not be super famous, but some people know her from America’s Next Top Model and The X Life. Nicole is the wife of Cory Nastazio, pro-BMX rider. I have aways thought Nicole embodies sexy. She is down to earth, has natural beauty, and seems like a very sweet, all American girl. She seems very sweet but she’s on top of her game.
- Favorite sexy film or literature (or both):
I thought that the movie “Unfaithful” was sexy. Though the story is about a married couple and the wife being unfaithful (which is not sexy) there was so much passion and love between the characters. Passion is always sexy.

A quiet restaurant or bar with wine and candlelight always does the job. - What makes you feel sexy?
Compliments are always nice and they will always do the job, but what makes me feel the most sexy is a suit! Wearing a business suit makes me feel confident and beautiful, and always turns heads.

Bikini Season is Upon Us | Las Vegas Boudoir
For the first time in my entire life I am living at a house that has a swimming pool. Exciting, yes, but also a bit terrifying since our backyard opens up for all of our neighbors to see as well as people in the park out back and those who utilize the walking trail. So with summer upon us I am having a bit of a panic attack. I am nowhere near being bikini ready, especially when put on display!
So, when Whitney (of Hera Beauty) text messaged me last night that MotivFit was running a special for another Body Blast class, I knew I had better take advantage of this. You can read about our prior experience with MotivFit here and here. I am the wimpiest person ever, so if I can do it, so can you! In fact, I would love if a bunch of you joined us!

While Her Husband is Away | Las Vegas Boudoir
This was one of those photo sessions that reminds me why I love boudoir so dearly. I was originally contacted by Mr. G who was looking for something to occupy his wife’s time with while he was busy at a convention for work during their time in Las Vegas. Mr. G arranged the whole thing for his beloved wife by email and said the loveliest things about her. I absolutely adore hearing how husbands speak of their wives when they treat them with a boudoir session!
An important aspect for all of my photo sessions is that my clients are just as invested in their boudoir experience as I am so I was pleased to see that a relationship was building right from the start via open communication. Mrs. G gave such thoughtful and interesting answers for the questionnaire I emailed her which helped me get to know her better and to be able to tailor her session more specifically towards her taste.
When the morning came for Mrs. G’s shoot, it felt like I was meeting up with an old friend. She was one of the most naturally sexy women I have ever encountered. She brought the ‘sexy’ without hesitation. It was ‘game time’ and she knew she would get the most out of her session if she tossed any inhibitions aside for the duration of her shoot. I appreciated her trust in me & my vision for her photos and her willingness to give it her all. And, she didn’t even blink an eye when I asked her to do a few sexy dance moves for video to incorporate into her slideshow! Go Mrs. G!!!! She is one heck of a gorgeous gal, isn’t she?

Fierce and Fabulous | Las Vegas Boudoir
Ms. R is one of those feline-like females who just oozes sex appeal – not in the basic form of sensuality either, but in a sophisticated manner that very few possess. She has a confidence about her that is awe-inspiring and a fashion sense to be envied! She brought the hottest little Herve Leger dress that we were all oohing & ahhing over! This girl also knows how to smoke a cigar like a champ! Our time together was a bit rushed so I worried about her puffing away continuously for the sake of the photo, but she pulled it off brilliantly! Consider me impressed!
